Tips For a Greener Plumbing System

1. Look for ENERGY STAR certified products. Our water heaters and boilers are Energy Star certified to be more energy efficient.
2. Replace your standard water heater with a tankless version. Tankless water heaters heat water on demand which reduces water use and conserves energy.
3. Install low-flow fixtures. Water conserving faucets, showerheads and toilets help save water while still providing good water pressure levels.
4. Install pipe insulation. Just like a winter jacket, insulated hot water pipes retain heat more efficiently which eases the burden on your water heater.

Replace old plumbing fixtures. Older plumbing equipment does not include the new modern features like low flow to conserve water and on-demand to heat water. If your plumbing fixtures haven’t been updated since the early 1990’s then you are guaranteed to save some money by replacing them with newer models.
